Winter

Author's Note: I decided to go on National Geographic to find a picture to write a poem about. I thought this was beautiful and reminded me of winter... My focus is word choice.

Silence,

The quiet waters,

and reticent trees.

Stillness,

Everything is motionless,

very calm and idle.

Serenity,  

The peace is comforting,

you feel at ease.
